We are seeking a dynamic Foreman/Supervisor to manage construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an opportunity to oversee construction operations, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule and in accordance with project specifications.
The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software. As a key leader, you will drive project success by supervising subcontractor teams and maintaining safety compliance to deliver exceptional results efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction site operations to ensure projects adhere to schedules and safety standards.
- Communicate daily with subcontractors, supervisors, and clients. Professionally and clearly. (Spanish is a plus)
- Manage change orders and procurement processes to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- You will monitor project progress through detailed scheduling and reporting; adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.
- Lead supervising efforts by managing subcontractors, resolving conflicts, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- You will ensure all construction activities comply with basic OSHA standards and company policies
.Experience
- Hands-on carpentry experience and proficiency with roofing and general construction practices.
- Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with basic blueprint reading.
- Hands-on experience with project scheduling
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety management.
- Proven experience in roofing and/or construction foreman or lead role, preferably in commercial or residential projects.
- Ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Strong communication skills to effectively and efficiently communicate with subcontractors, project managers & clients (Spanish is a plus)
- Additional trade certifications or vocational training are a plus.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
