Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder specializing in MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding to join our dynamic fabrication team. Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on a variety of materials, including sheet metal and structural components, following detailed blueprints and schematics.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, torch, and other fabrication equipment to prepare materials for welding.
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and weld quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols related to welding, rigging, and construction site practices.
- Operate forklifts, and other heavy machinery as needed for material handling and positioning during fabrication processes.
Skills
- Proven experience in MIG welding with a strong understanding of FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, schematics, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
