About The Little School
For over 40 years, The Little School has provided a nurturing, child-centered environment where children learn through exploration, meaningful relationships, and hands-on experiences.
Position Summary
The Teacher will work with the team to engage in learning experiences that support the development of the whole child. The ideal candidate is warm, observant, flexible, and committed to continuous professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and school policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or 12 ECE units preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
