Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented AutoCAD Engineer / Drafting Engineer to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings, schematics, and construction details that bring architectural and engineering concepts to life. Your expertise will support project development from initial design through construction documentation, ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards. Responsibilities
- Create and revise AutoCAD drawings, vehicle layouts, and production prints
- Develop floorplans and design documentation for van and shuttle conversions
- Review specifications and customer requirements for accuracy
- Work with production staff to resolve design or fitment questions
- Maintain organized drawing files and revision records
- Assist with improving design standards and production efficiency
Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD required
- Mechanical, manufacturing, automotive, or vehicle upfitting experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, measurements, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
