We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Director of Wellness to lead and enhance our comprehensive wellness programs across various care settings. Duties
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of wellness programs tailored to diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring acute or long-term care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans that incorporate physical health, mental health, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, long-term care regulations, and state healthcare laws.
- Supervise wellness staff, providing guidance on best practices in patient assessment, medical documentation, and therapeutic interventions.
- Oversee the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Tabula
- Conduct regular training sessions on infection control, medication administration, IV infusion techniques, and other clinical skills.
- Monitor program outcomes
Skills
- Extensive experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia care, behavioral health needs, and long term care.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems like Tabula, willing to train our new candidate
- Strong leadership skills with proven success in supervising healthcare teams within hospital medicine, nursing homes, assisted living facilities or long-term care environments.
- Knowledge of critical care procedures including ventilator management, airway management, catheterization, tube feeding, and sterile processing techniques.
- Ability to interpret diagnostic evaluations such as cardiac catheterization results or Spinal taps; competence in patient assessment and vital signs monitoring.
- Familiarity with hospital-based specialties including ICU/CCU experience or Level I & II trauma center protocols is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for managerial coordination and patient-centered care planning; understanding of HIPAA compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases involving medication administration, pain management experiences, infection control protocols, and discharge planning.
- Competence in managing care facility teams while ensuring adherence to nursing policies and regulations governing long-term care facilities.

Pay: $57,862.86 - $69,684.30 per year
