Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer specializing in Shingles and Metal roofing to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse roofing projects, from residential to commercial, utilizing your expertise in installation, repair, and maintenance. As a key member of our crew, you will contribute to delivering high-quality roofing solutions that protect and enhance our clients’ properties. Duties
- Install, repair, and replace shingles and metal roofing systems according to project specifications and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise installation
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment efficiently to cut, shape, and secure roofing materials
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites
- Conduct site inspections to assess existing conditions and determine the best roofing approach
- Coordinate with project managers, carpenters, masons, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow
- Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and other finishing techniques for a polished appearance
- Assist with restoration projects involving stucco, masonry, or framing as needed
- Follow schematics and technical instructions for metal stud framing or plumbing integration when required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in roofing installation with shingles and metal systems; familiarity with roofing codes and standards
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, chisels, screwdrivers; power tools including drills, saws, welders; fabrication equipment
- Experience with construction site operations including heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, and safety procedures
- Background in related trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry), masonry (stucco), plumbing or welding is advantageous
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret schematics for complex roofing projects
- Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, climbing ladders/scaffolding; capable of heavy lifting when necessary
- Handyman experience or general construction skills that support versatile project needs are a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
