Brentwood Health Center by Harborview is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Cook to join our Dietary Services team. If you enjoy preparing quality meals, take pride in your work, and want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents, we would love to meet you!
Our dietary team plays a vital role in providing nutritious, appetizing meals while creating a positive dining experience for the residents we proudly serve.
Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and therapeutic diet requirements.
Ensure food is prepared, served, and stored in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
Assist with food preparation for special events and holiday meals.
Monitor food quality, temperatures, and portion control.
Work cooperatively with dietary staff and nursing personnel to meet residents' nutritional needs.
Follow all local, state, and federal regulations, including infection control and safety procedures.
Previous cooking experience in a healthcare, long-term care, restaurant, or institutional setting preferred.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards.
Dependable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.
