At the Y in Central Maryland, learning is more than training. It's how we prepare our associates to change lives every day. We're looking for a creative and innovative Instructional Designer who is passionate about building engaging learning experiences that empower people to grow, lead, and make an impact.
In this role, you'll partner with leaders and subject matter experts across the organization to transform ideas into dynamic learning experiences. From onboarding and leadership development to e-learning, videos, instructor-led training, and AI-powered learning solutions, you'll help shape how more than 2,000 associates learn and succeed.
What You'll Do
- Design engaging learning experiences for classroom, virtual, and online environments.
- Partner with subject matter experts to turn operational knowledge into effective training.
- Develop e-learning, videos, facilitator guides, job aids, and performance support tools.
- Leverage instructional design best practices, emerging technologies, and AI tools to create innovative learning solutions.
- Support onboarding, compliance, leadership development, workforce development, and enterprise learning initiatives.
What You'll Bring
