Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Summer Camp Counselors to join our team for the upcoming camp season. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. You will be responsible for leading activities, providing guidance, and ensuring the well-being of campers while fostering their personal growth and development.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with campers in various enrichment activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
- Drive campers to local parks and other field trips.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a positive atmosphere and resolve conflicts
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members to ensure a cohesive camp experience.
- Assist with daily operations of the camp, including setup and cleanup of activities.
Requirements
- Should have a permanent driver license for at least 7 years and ideally more.
- Experience working with children in settings such as camps, schools, or childcare is preferred.
- Background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
- Experience in sports coaching or leading physical activities is a plus.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles is beneficial.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A passion for working with children and creating memorable experiences is essential.
