Data Center Asset Management Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Center Asset Management Technician to support inventory control, asset lifecycle management, and operational asset tracking within data center environments. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate asset records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with operational and security procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage on-site IT asset inbound, outbound, acceptance, shipment, and ticket closure activities to ensure compliant, accurate, and traceable asset movement.
- Execute asset delivery, transfer, spare parts issuance, and consumable handover based on ticket requirements, ensuring tickets are completed according to delivery standards.
- Conduct regular inventory checks for data center IT assets, including servers, network devices, components, spare parts, and consumables.
- Verify physical assets against system records and asset ledgers, identify discrepancies, and support root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
- Maintain daily asset warehouse operations, including proper zoning, asset placement, safety control, labeling, and stock accuracy.
- Update and maintain asset data in CMDB, ITAM, or other asset management systems, ensuring asset status, location, quantity, labels, and movement records are accurate.
- Coordinate with on-site operations teams, delivery teams, vendors, and asset stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of asset management processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in IT, Information Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Electronic Information, or related fields.
- At least 3 year of experience in IT asset management, data center asset management, warehouse management, IT operations support, or supply chain execution.
- Familiar with asset inbound/outbound, acceptance, shipment, inventory check, discrepancy handling, and ticket closure processes.
- Good data awareness and ability to use Excel for asset ledger maintenance, data verification, and basic reporting.
- Experience with CMDB, ITAM, or similar asset management systems is preferred.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, process-driven, and able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Able to work in an on-site data center environment and comply with safety, asset, and confidentiality requirements.
- Chinese proficiency preferred.

Pay: $4,500.00 - $4,900.00 per month
