Job Summary
We are looking for a driven, independent Field Sales Representative to join our produce team at Bayou Supply Co. In this role, you will be the face of our company in the local culinary scene—connecting with head chefs and restaurant owners across New Orleans, introducing them to our catalog, and building your own recurring territory route. Key Responsibilities
Territory Development: Prospect, pitch, and secure new commercial restaurant, cafe, and bar accounts across your designated New Orleans territory.
Kitchen Consultations: Meet directly with chefs, kitchen managers, and owners to understand their produce needs, negotiate pricing, and introduce them to J’s Produce catalog.
Route Building: Build and stabilize a target portfolio of 15 to 20 recurring accounts that order weekly.
Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, ensuring delivery satisfaction and handling weekly reorders.
Transition to Cruise Control: Once your route is established and running smoothly, shift into account maintenance, checking in weekly while collecting residual commission.

Projected Earnings: $46,800 – $62,400+ / year base-target range (achieved by building a stable portfolio of 15–20 active accounts ordering roughly $3k/week).

Total Schedule Flexibility: Once your route is locked down, you manage your own time and check-ins. No sitting at a boring 9-to-5 desk.
