American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) night shift position in Ohio, requiring 2 years of PCU experience and active EPIC proficiency.

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in an acute care hospital setting
-
Ortho trauma unit serving PCU patients with diagnoses including SBO, fall, laceration, pneumonia, head injury, TBI, trauma, ileus, fistula, and fractures

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Telemetry monitoring required

Epic EMR experience required

Skills required include IV starts, patient monitoring, lab interpretation, medication administration, and patient education

Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required

Epic EMR proficiency required

Telemetry experience required

All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Changing representation between assignments does not require a 30-day break at this facility
