Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Safety Manager to help lead our organization's safety initiatives and cultivate a culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and workers' compensation laws. Your expertise will help prevent workplace incidents, promote occupational health, and foster continuous safety improvement across all operations. Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies aligned with OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate safety training programs including CPR, first aid, OSHA compliance, and occupational health protocols to ensure all employees are well-informed.
- Manage workers' compensation claims process in accordance with applicable laws and facilitate timely reporting and resolution.
- Prepare detailed report writing on safety performance metrics, incident reports, and compliance documentation for internal review and regulatory agencies.
- Promote a culture of safety through ongoing training & development initiatives, employee engagement activities, and continuous improvement strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, manufacturing & industrial environments with a strong understanding of occupational health and safety standards.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, OSHA compliance training, and familiarity with EPA regulations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of workers' compensation law and reporting requirements is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and report writing effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to deliver training sessions and collaborate across teams.
- Ability to conduct thorough safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations confidently.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $112,000.00 per year
