As a CT/X-Ray Technologist, you'll combine technical expertise with compassionate patient care to deliver high-quality diagnostic images that directly impact patient outcomes. Working alongside radiologists and healthcare professionals, you'll utilize state-of-the-art imaging equipment while helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their experience.

What you'll do:
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort.
- Explain procedures and answer patient questions to create a positive experience.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining radiation safety standards.
- Apply the principles of radiation protection and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) in all imaging procedures.
- Review images for quality, accuracy, and completeness before submission.
- Exercise independent judgment and critical thinking while performing imaging procedures.
- Assist with troubleshooting and routine maintenance of imaging equipment.
- Accurately document patient information and imaging records.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
Qualifications:
Education & Credentials-
- ARRT Certification required.
- CT Registry preferred.
- Illinois State IEMA Certification required.
Experience-
- New graduates accepted and encouraged to apply.
- Two years of experience as a staff technologist preferred but not required.
License & Certifications-
- Current ARRT Certification required.
- Illinois State IEMA Certification required within six months of hire.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $27.50 - $44.25
