Responsibilities
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor premises for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Respond promptly and effectively to on-call security requests, incidents, or emergencies across the facility.
- Manage access control by verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations calmly and professionally.
- Perform routine patrols of the property to identify potential security breaches or safety concerns.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring for theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious behavior.
- Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, ensuring immediate response until emergency services arrive.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of all activities, observations, and interventions during shifts.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of surveillance techniques using CCTV systems and other security technology.
- Training or certification in first aid, CPR, conflict management, or loss prevention is preferred.
- Strong understanding of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities effectively.
