Our Personal Injury Law Firm is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys and ensure the smooth running of cases and effective trial support. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and analyze statutes, case law, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes to prepare legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, and discovery responses, etc. for use by attorneys.
- Categorize, interpret, and analyze data, reports, and records produced by opposing counsel
- Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents; file with the court as required
- Coordinate communication between clients, claims teams, and attorneys throughout the life of each case
- Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes; organize exhibits, evidence, and case materials
- Assist attorneys with interrogatories, discovery requests, depositions, and trial preparation
- Support voir dire, jury selection, and witness preparation
- Manage administrative duties including calendaring hearings, deadlines, and case logistics
- Update and maintain internal legal databases and case management systems
- Assist with case settlements and liaise with internal and external third parties
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm or legal department
- Strong working knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, court rules, and litigation procedures
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, computer database and legal case management software
- Familiarity with legal research platforms, law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Associate's Degree (required); Bachelor's Degree preferred
- ABA-approved paralegal certification with a preferred focus on litigation
- 5+ years of experience in legal case management and litigation support
- 3+ years of Microsoft Office proficiency

Pay: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour, based on experience
