POSITION SUMMARY
The Craft Laborer supports the construction and installation of utility-scale solar projects through physical labor, material handling, equipment support, and adherence to strict safety standards.
This role is essential to field productivity and requires reliability, teamwork, and a strong safety-first mindset in a fast-paced construction environment.
STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITY
While primarily execution-focused, the Craft Laborer contributes to company success through:
Productivity Contribution
- Support installation targets (MW per week goals).
- Maintain a steady work pace aligned with crew objectives.
- Reduce material waste and rework through attention to detail.

OPERATIONAL EXECUTION
Installation Support
- Assist with pile driving, racking assembly, module installation, and tracker systems.
- Perform trenching, backfilling, and underground conduit placement.
- Load, unload, and stage materials.
- Support electrical and mechanical crews as directed.
Equipment & Tool Handling
- Safely operate basic power tools and small equipment.
- Assist heavy equipment operators when required.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Daily Site Participation
- Attend daily safety meetings (toolbox talks).
- Follow Foreman instructions for daily production goals.
- Report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 0-3+ years of construction or labor experience (solar preferred but not required).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel to project sites.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
