We’re looking for a Full-Time Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our Programs team and lead engaging experiences that support the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our residents.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of our community, you will:
- Design and lead engaging programs including social events, wellness activities, educational sessions, and spiritual opportunities
- Build meaningful relationships with residents while promoting a person-centered approach
- Coordinate community outings and trips—including driving the Youville van for excursions
- Set up and facilitate activities (including assisting residents with mobility needs)
- Collaborate with team members, volunteers, and families to enhance programming
- Promote events through calendars, newsletters, and creative communications
- Support special events, employee engagement activities, and resident services (like salon scheduling)
- Monitor resident engagement and report changes or needs to leadership
What You Bring
- A genuine passion for working with older adults
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity, energy, and the ability to lead group activities
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to assist residents and set up events (lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, etc.)
- A team-first mindset with a compassionate, respectful approach
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience working with older adults or in a related setting
- Experience with recreational, social, or therapeutic programming preferred
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required
- Valid driver’s license (for resident outings)
- Willingness to learn and grow within a mission-driven organization
