Daily Responsibilities for Architect/Architectural Designer
- Participate in the architectural project lifecycle from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, to the 4C high standard of design, and to the client's satisfaction.
- Adhere to project timelines, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to deadlines and financial constraints.
- During the design development phase of the project, coordinate the project team, including the construction team, interior designers, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Overseen by the Director of Architecture and Studio leader, lead the design development process, translating client requirements and design concepts into architectural plans, drawings, specifications, and develop innovative design solutions that meet functional, aesthetic, and constructability goals while adhering to building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Actively participate in the Integrated Project Team during the construction phase by providing solutions, value engineering ideas, and in general being a collaborative partner to ensure the overall success of the project.
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and 4C construction teams to resolve design conflicts, change orders, and field modifications while maintaining design intent and project objectives.
- Provide a luxury experience for clients during the Architecture phase, communicating project progress, and fostering positive and collaborative relationships with clients.
- Ensure project profitability by allocating resources efficiently, and streamline workflows and processes to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years experience
- Must be Proficient in Revit
- Must be willing to commute to the office in Park City.
- Strong design and presentation skills.
- Strong technical knowledge and construction administration experience.
- Degree from accredited architecture school preferred.
- Architectural licensure preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
