Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Safety Manager in Chandler, AZ. The Safety Manager oversees health and safety policies and procedures for electrical construction projects, ensuring workplace compliance with OSHA and industry-specific regulations. This role focuses on implementing initiatives to reduce accidents, providing safety training, and conducting periodic audits to maintain a safe working environment.

Pay: $35 to $48 Per Hour BOE
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive on-site safety assessments of projects and monitor corrective actions.
- Plan and implement safety training programs for employees regarding site practices and electrical hazards.
- Review and maintain documentation for accidents and incidents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in investigations for injuries, property damage, or equipment loss and produce reports.
- Maintain regulatory records and safety files to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Ensure safety signage, barriers, and protective equipment are properly utilized on-site.
- Recommend and enforce disciplinary actions for violations of safety policies.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure safety procedures are understood and implemented consistently.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in safety management within a construction or trade environment.
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple site inspections.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for delivering orientations and reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety reporting tools.
- Ability to adapt and solve problems in a fast-paced field environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to navigate active construction sites and uneven terrain.
- Comfortable working at heights and in environments with loud noises.
- Occasional climbing of stairs and ladders to inspect work areas.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and reach during site walkthroughs.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods and use computer equipment.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $35 to $48 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
