We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood development journey. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and creative activities aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, social interaction, and positive behavior management.
- Engage children in hands-on learning experiences that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development based on child development instruction principles.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss behavioral concerns, and collaborate on supporting each child's growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, standardized testing results, and lesson plans in compliance with mandated reporting laws.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering independence and responsibility among students.
- Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists as needed.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols including first aid and CPR procedures; respond promptly to emergencies or incidents involving children.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is essential.
- Education in ECE with 12 units completed
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
- Experience developing curriculum content that includes literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
- Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and working with children with diverse needs is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and community partners to support child welfare and educational success.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in early childhood education or preschool teaching are preferred.
- Experience working in private schools or daycare centers enhances your candidacy
