Social Security Disability Legal Assistant/Paralegal
We are a boutique firm that specializes in Social Security Disability Law, located in Winder, GA. We are committed to helping our clients through the Social Security Disability claims process, from filing the initial application to providing representation at a hearing.
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm about our mission, a solid work ethic, a “get things done” mentality, excellent time-management skills, a love for attention to details, and a desire to work in an organized office. We are looking for someone who can be understanding and compassionate to our clients' needs.
Our office embraces technology and is PAPERLESS! We utilize a case management software to organize our cases. We are willing to do on the job paid training, no experience required. This position is ideal for someone who likes to work independently but knows how to be a team player.
Qualifications - Entry Level
- High School Diploma or GED
- A Completed and updated resume is required for consideration.

- Willingness to learn and work with multiple employees within our organization.
- Superior organization and strong attention to detail with follow-through that’s complete only when the task is finished with professionalism throughout.
- Ability to work efficiently, independently, and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

- The ability to respond to difficult clients with kindness, patience and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Assist office staff with daily office tasks.
- Solid communication skills to interact with all levels of Firm personnel, clients of the Firm and/or potential clients, Social Security Agencies, Hearing Offices, and Medical Facilities.
- Ability to prioritize callers' needs and triage importance of tasks.
- Routinely interact with Social Security employees to provide information pertinent to the processing of the claim as well as to perform status checks.
- Communicate with clients to ensure all appropriate initiating documentation is complete and received in a timely manner.
- Regularly communicate with clients to keep them abreast of the status of their case.
- Occasionally meet in person with clients to fill out forms, answer questions, or other additional tasks.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
