Seeking an experienced and motivated sales professional to promote and grow sales of the company's portfolio of ready-mix concrete, aggregate, and asphalt products. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting project bidding activities throughout the assigned territory.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities, including commercial, residential, municipal, and public works projects.
- Schedule and conduct meetings, site visits, and presentations with prospective and existing customers.
- Provide on-site customer support and perform basic quality control activities, including observing product performance and addressing customer concerns.
- Track and maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities.
- Communicate customer needs, market trends, and product feedback to management and operations teams.
- Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers.
- Meet and/or exceed established sales and revenue goals.
- Coordinate with dispatch, operations, and management teams to ensure exceptional customer service and successful project execution.
Qualifications for Sales Representative
- 2–4 years of sales experience.
- Previous sales experience in construction materials, ready-mix concrete, aggregates, asphalt, or a related industry preferred.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and performance objectives.
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing customer relationships.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
