Title: Night Auditor
Location: Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Arboretum
Reports To: Assistant General Manager
Position Summary
Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Arboretum is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and guest-focused Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. As a full-service hotel, the Night Auditor plays a critical role in providing exceptional overnight guest service while completing the daily audit and ensuring all financial and operational reports are accurate.
This position is responsible for assisting guests with check-ins and check-outs, handling guest requests, balancing daily transactions, preparing reports, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment during overnight hours.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding guest service during the overnight shift.
- Perform guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
- Complete the nightly audit and reconcile all daily financial transactions.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports for hotel management.
- Balance, credit card, and other payment transactions.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and emergencies.
- Answer phone calls and assist guests with hotel information.
- Maintain accurate guest records using Hilton PEP and other hotel systems.
- Ensure the front desk and lobby remain clean, organized, and professional.
- Follow Hilton brand standards and hotel policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk or Night Auditor experience preferred.
- Hilton experience and knowledge of PEP is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and dependable work ethic.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
