Responsibilities

- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management techniques that promote respect, cooperation, and active participation.
- Utilize diverse teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and ensure differentiated instruction for all students.
- Monitor student progress regularly through assessments, observations, and standardized testing to tailor instruction and support individual needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, educational technology integration, and best practices for early childhood teaching.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones through regular updates and meetings.
- Incorporate special education strategies when working with children with autism or other learning differences to ensure inclusive learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and behavioral incidents in compliance with educational regulations.
- Support the integration of library services and technology tools to enhance literacy education and overall student engagement.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities related to childhood development, behavior management, Montessori or other pedagogical approaches, and early intervention techniques.
Experience
- Proven classroom experience working with young children in an early childhood or elementary school setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum implementation across subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education or behavioral support.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools used for lesson planning, student assessment, and classroom management.
- Prior involvement in mentoring or collaborating with fellow educators to improve instructional practices.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, standardized testing procedures, and regulatory compliance for early childhood education programs.
- Experience working within private schools or Montessori environments is a plus but not required.
