Mizner Park Veterinary Clinic is looking for a skilled, experienced Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our doctors during patient examinations, surgical procedures, diagnostics, and treatment plans while ensuring the highest standard of care for every patient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surgical suites and maintain sterile instruments and equipment.
- Monitor anesthesia and assist veterinarians throughout surgical procedures.
- Place intravenous (IV) catheters.
- Perform diagnostic testing, including blood collection, laboratory work, ECGs, radiographs, and other procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed.
- Assist with patient intake, assessments, and treatment plans.
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient animals.
- Educate and communicate with pet owners to support the best possible patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical records and support the overall efficiency of the veterinary team.
Qualifications:
- Previous Veterinary Technician experience is required!
- Strong technical and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for animal health and client care.
