About the Role
As a Highway Safety Systems Supervisor, you will lead field crews in the critical installation and maintenance of roadside safety infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in heavy highway construction to ensure projects are executed with precision, safety, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities-
Direct and mentor field teams in the precise installation and repair of W-Beam systems, cable barriers, end terminals, and impact attenuators.

Translate complex engineering blueprints and site plans into accurate, high-quality safety installations.

Champion a culture of safety by managing traffic control setups and ensuring full adherence to OSHA and regional transportation department standards.

Operate and supervise the deployment of heavy equipment, including pounder trucks, skid steers, and augers.

Drive project efficiency by managing material tracking, documenting daily production quantities, and overseeing crew timekeeping.

Serve as the primary point of contact for municipal and state inspectors to coordinate daily workflows and project milestones.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in guardrail installation or heavy highway construction.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Proven ability to manage field operations and lead diverse teams.

Possession of a Class A or B CDL.

Current GRIT, Traffic Control, and OSHA 30 certifications.

Demonstrated experience in reading and interpreting civil engineering drawings.

Flexibility to support project schedules that may include night, weekend, or travel requirements.
