- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, or carpet care as needed
- Restock supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure operational efficiency
- Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines to promote a safe working environment
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing extra attention or maintenance issues
- Adhere to environmental services protocols for waste disposal and chemical handling
Requirements
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in healthcare or hospitality settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and floor care procedures
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices for environmental health and safety
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all occupants
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
