Access Michigan is a technical sales organization provides critical support regarding heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and services that support the digital world.
About the Role
We are looking for a process driven, communicative, and adaptable Team Member to support our quickly growing business. As an Accounts Payable Clerk you will play a crucial role on our Accounting Team, collaborating with sales Team Members, and effectively problem solve with vendors as needed. You will be reporting to the Accounting Manager.
Core Responsibilities
- Accurately enter vendor invoices
- Processing vendor credit memos
- Reconcile accounts payable work with vendors if discrepancies arise
- Setting up new vendors
- Promptly issue checks and electronically file invoices
- Managing multiple priorities
- Effectively communicating via phone and email
- Assist other Accounting Team Members as needed
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Associate’s degree in accounting or finance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- ERP system experience (Viewpoint Spectrum a plus)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective prioritization while adapting to changing priorities
- Effective communicator
- Confident decision maker

Pay: $24.24 - $29.20 per hour
