Duties
- Perform advanced diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct repairs on powertrain components, including diesel engines, transmissions, and related systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension work with meticulous attention to detail.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Lead complex repairs involving ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), vehicle electrical systems, and auto body components while adhering to safety protocols.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Skills
- Extensive dealership experience with a proven track record in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, especially GM vehicles.
- Proficiency in working with ADAS technology, automotive electrical systems, and schematics.
- Skilled in diesel engine repair, powertrain diagnostics, wheel alignment, and auto body repair techniques.
- Hands-on experience with welding, vehicle maintenance procedures, and auto service best practices.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, programming and troubleshooting using advanced diagnostic equipment.
