Toyota San Luis Obispo is looking for experienced Technicians to join our Service Department who will engage in a variety of tasks including diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of vehicles. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to explain repairs and service options.
- Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work performed, including digital documentation.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing repairs and handling tools and equipment.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment in accordance with company standards.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and education.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance (preferred).
- ASE Certification (Preferred)
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for vehicle repairs.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills with a comprehensive understanding of automotive systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Positive attitude and high energy with willingness to go above and beyond.
