American Traveler is hiring an Echo Tech with 2+ years of experience in stress, transesophageal, and transthoracic echocardiography for a community hospital setting.

Community hospital-based patient population

Caseload of approximately 6-7 patients per day

Uses Philips EPIQ ultrasound equipment

EPIC EMR system in use
-
Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (also 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM option)

40 hours per week guaranteed
-
No call requirements
-
Floats between Mid Coast and Lincoln campuses as needed

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech required
-
RDCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification required
-
BLS certification required
-
License required if applicable
-
Experience with Stress ECHO, Transesophageal, and Transthoracic echocardiography required

IV skills preferred but not required

EPIC EMR experience preferred

Driver's License required for consideration

2 professional references required

Perform stress, transesophageal, and transthoracic echocardiograms in a community hospital setting

Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude required to keep pace with daily caseload

Scrubs of any color are acceptable

Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility will be considered local

Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions

Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration

Requested time off should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
