OVERVIEW OF POSITION:
Making sure your guests receive an EXTRAORDINARY experience will be the most important part of your job as a HOST or CASHIER at Mister O1!
As a host/hostess, your responsibility is to provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests by welcoming and warmly greeting guests on arrival, and managing the efficient and timely seating of our guests to a table that best serves their wishes.
As a cashier, your responsibility is to ensure that our take-out guests receive the same EXTRAORDINARY Mister O1 experience at home as they would in our restaurant! The main goal of a cashier is to make sure all take-out orders look nothing short of extraordinary, and that all of the guest's requests have been met.
You’ll need to always meet Mister O1 standard operating procedures for welcoming, greeting, helping guests, answering questions about Mister O1, and following proper cleanliness and hygiene procedures. Always be ready and ensure that your guest receives a Mister O1 EXTRAORDINARY experience!
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (But not limited to):
- Greeting and open the front door (If available) for guests entering or leaving the restaurant when possible.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of their server’s name upon seating.
- Assign guests to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate amount of seating’s.
- Manage our waiting list system through Toast Tables.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries or transfer calls.
- Assist with preparing beverages when necessary.
- Direct guests to waiting areas.
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
- Take telephone orders and input them accurately into Toast POS.
- Take in-person take-out orders and input them into Toast POS.
- Quality check take-out orders, verify any modifications, requests, etc., hand off take-out orders to guests or Uber Eats courier.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED. Minimum 1 year hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
Basic computer skills are required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, speak and write in English. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, guests, and the public. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
