Summary:
Provides adequate supervision within a defined shift. Provides technical expertise and guidance for the section; assists the Technical Director in the consolidation and standardization of laboratory testing. Acts as liaison for the Laboratory and Nursing & Medical staffs. Acting as the Quality Systems Manager for a specific site or area of responsibility, performs and documents QA activities as defined by Laboratory Administrative and Medical Leadership.

B.S. or B.A. degree

NYS Licensure required

MT (ASCP) registered/eligible or equivalent
EXPERIENCE

Six (6) years of clinical laboratory work
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
