We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. This role involves assisting patients in their rehabilitation journey, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities to promote recovery and enhance mobility.
Duties
- Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist.
- Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and rehabilitation strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide support in various specialties including geriatrics, orthopedics, and home health settings.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to enhance patient interactions and care delivery.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Knowledge of neurological and/or orthopedic is preferred but not required.
- Experience in a clinical setting, particularly with geriatrics or orthopedic patients, is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology as it relates to patient care.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while providing compassionate patient care.

Pay: $50.00 per hour
