Insight Vision Care, a family-owned private practice is seeking a customer-focused Optician to join our team full-time. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, collaborates well with doctors and staff, and is eager to learn and grow with our practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Guide patients through frame and lens selection, ensuring personalized recommendations and proper fit.
- Work closely with doctors, office staff, and patients to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience.
- Accurately interpret prescriptions and place lens and frame orders with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and care, helping them make informed decisions with confidence.
- Provide contact lens instruction, including insertion, removal, and care education.
- Adjust, repair, and troubleshoot eyewear to ensure proper fit, function, and patient satisfaction.
- Support inventory management, including receiving, organizing, and merchandising frames and lenses.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and documentation standards in compliance with HIPAA and practice policies.
- Having a passion for outstanding patient care
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as an optician in a private practice or retail optical setting.
- Licensure/Certification: ABO certification preferred but not required.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional demeanor.
- Passion for patient-centered care and continuous learning.
