Job Summary
We are seeking a Shipping Fulfillment Manager to lead our shipping operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end order fulfillment process, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and elevate overall performance. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all aspects of shipping, and order fulfillment to meet customer demands efficiently.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers and carriers to ensure optimal freight movement and delivery schedules.
- Ensure accurate inventory control and streamlined workflows.
- Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Coordinate with purchasing teams on purchasing activities to ensure materials availability aligns with production schedules.
- Train new employees on how to properly and ocrrectly package items for delivery.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to inventory accuracy, shipping accuracy, order cycle times, and overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision within a logistics or supply chain environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, including inventory management, procurement, transportation management systems, and freight logistics.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), similar platforms, and supply chain analytics tools.
- Experience managing third-party logistics providers, operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment; ability to motivate staff toward operational excellence.
