Responsibilities:
- Lead and support crews of up to 3 people in field
- Follow and execute job work orders as specified and within product and labor budget
- Arrive reliably at scheduled time each work day, as early as 6:00 AM
- Load / secure equipment and materials in vehicles
- Maintain a clean driving record and a valid DOT medical card
- Complete daily vehicle precheck inspections before operating vehicles
- Safely drive company vehicles to client job sites, transporting crew/materials as necessary
- Successfully use phone app for labor tracking, notes and account photos
- Maintain proper working knowledge of all tools and equipment and their safe operation
- Demonstrate flexibility in handling unexpected challenges on job sites with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Continuously learn new plant names and stay updated on all changes to scope of work at client accounts
- Keep job site organized and clean while promoting client satisfaction and company image
- Perform exterior maintenance as assigned and to standards specified in maintenance canvases
- Identify pests and other plant issues
- Troubleshoot plant issues in field & escalate anything unresolved to Field Crew Manager

We serve a niche market that distinguishes us from traditional landscape companies because we are “outdoor color specialists” and many of our plantings are in oversized outdoor containers.
Our crew starts at our Walpole office each day and travels in company vehicles to locations throughout Cambridge, Boston and Quincy. We plant and maintain parks, courtyards, rooftops and entrances to prominent buildings.

- Minimum 3 years experience in groundskeeping, landscaping or gardening.
- You have a strong attention to detail/design and are good at following instructions.
- You are comfortable working on ladders.
Physical Requirements: This position requires extended periods of standing, bending, kneeling and occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like. You must have the ability to complete medium intensity work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds. You will occasionally operate machinery, power tools and/or motor vehicles. The work environment may occasionally result in exposure to high/low temperatures and outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
