Job Description
3 Generations Surfacing is seeking a Seasonal Administrative Assistant / Operations Support employee to assist our office and operations team during our busy season. This position will begin in July and continue through December.
This is an entry-level position, and no prior office or construction experience is required. Recent high school graduates are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable using a computer, and able to communicate in both English and Spanish. The employee will support different areas of the business, including equipment coordination, billing support, document filing, subcontractor recordkeeping, email monitoring, and general administrative work.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting office and administrative staff with daily tasks
- Assisting with coordinating and ordering equipment for job sites
- Assisting with billing, including organizing job information, preparing supporting documents, and entering billing-related information
- Reviewing job records to help ensure billing information is complete and accurate
- Filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Keeping records of subcontractor job completion
- Monitoring, organizing, and responding to basic emails
- Communicating with employees, subcontractors, customers, and vendors when needed
- Helping maintain accurate job records and documentation
- Entering information into spreadsheets and company systems
- Assisting with other office and operations tasks as needed
QualificationsRequired
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Recent high school graduates are welcome to apply
- Ability to speak, read, and write in both English and Spanish
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to use email and communicate professionally

Preferred, but Not Required
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Some college education
- Previous office, customer service, construction, billing, or administrative experience
Previous experience is not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Compensation
This seasonal position pays $25.00 per hour.
Schedule
This is a seasonal position running from July through December. Specific days and working hours will be discussed during the interview process.
