Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Landscaping & Irrigation General Laborer, where you will play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves assisting with landscape installation, irrigation system setup, and ongoing lawn and landscape maintenance.
This is a temp-to-permanent position starting at $15/hour until skills are evaluated. Clear growth pathways available in landscaping design & construction, maintenance, and irrigation
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and repair of irrigation systems
- Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor in landscape, irrigation, or construction projects
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment for various landscaping projects
- Lay sod, plant, mow, trim, dig, mulch, and load and unload materials
- Support the setup and teardown of landscaping features, including patios, walkways, and garden beds
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintain the cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, weeds, and excess materials to promote safety and aesthetics
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling equipment and working around construction zones or horticultural environments
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work outdoors in heat and varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Basic mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems, power tools, and hand tools
- Experience with manual labor in landscaping and irrigation
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques, including planting, mulching, and soil preparation
- Ability to operate small machinery or other construction equipment is a plus
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently in outdoor conditions
- Prior experience in landscaping or irrigation is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
