A nonprofit services organization in New York City is seeking a licensed Qualified Health Professional (QHP) to join their team in Manhattan as their new Clinical Supervisor, providing clinical supervision to Substance Abuse Counselors and Reintegration Case Managers.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours: 9am to 5pm

Setting: Residential SUD Program
Responsibilities:
-
Review, approve, and co-sign treatment plans, progress notes, utilization reviews, and court letters

Conduct chart audits and ensure compliance with OASAS, state, and federal regulations

Respond to incidents and manage discharge planning, including writing discharge letters
-
Facilitate daily staff huddles and weekly multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings

Ensure documentation and court reports are submitted on time to avoid citations

Serve as backup to the Program Director when unavailable

Provide coverage when counselors are out, as needed

Support census growth through collaboration and referral relationships

Participate in QA, performance improvement, and utilization review activities
Qualifications:
-
3+ years of SUD Services experience
-
Master's Degree
-
Must be a Qualified Health Professional (QHP) : MSW, LCSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT, CASAC, etc.

Experience in a Supervisory role

Excellent communication skills
