St. Stanislaus Kostka School is a Pre-K to 8 private, Catholic school looking for a talented individual to take on the role of full-time Computer Science/Middle School Writing teacher.
Responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
- Using a variety of instructional techniques, including project-based learning to ensure that students are engaged
- Creating a classroom culture in which students enjoy learning computer science, keyboarding, and become proficient in the use of the Google platform and other web-based programs
- Working directly with the principal and other school personnel in the development and implementation of the computer curriculum
- Maintaining the school website and various advertising platforms
- PowerSchool knowledge preferred but not required
- Internal networking knowledge preferred but not required
- Jav Smartboard knowledge helpful but not required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in the field of Technology or Computer Science
- New Jersey State Teaching Certification, preferred
- Technology Certificate, preferred
- Google Classroom certification preferred, but not required. Knowledge and experience to assist students and faculty in using the Google platform.
