Summary
We are seeking a receptionist/assistant to join our team at Canine Chic Inc. In this role, you will assist our professional groomers in providing top-notch grooming services to our furry clients. Your contributions will directly enhance the quality of care we provide and ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and messages to schedule appointments
- Greet clients with warmth and professionalism
- Discuss grooming instructions with owners and relay information to groomers
- Sell spa packages and upgrades
- Check out clients and collect payment
- Encourage re-booking appointments.
- Decrease missed appointments by following up with reminders
- Assist other salon employees as needed with drying, brushing, clipping nails etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area to ensure a safe environment for pets
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs.
- Assist with social media content
- Help with end of day cleaning
- Prepare for the next day and close salon
Requirements
- Experience in animal care or pet grooming preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments safely.
- Basic knowledge of pet grooming techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Available from 10am to 6pm
