Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and daily living activities.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote cognitive function.
- Monitor and document clients’ health and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the clients.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Requirements:
- Experience working with clients with dementia.
- 2+ years of caregiving experience preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- Background check and drug screening required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
