We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment to move, load, unload, and organize products and materials throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
- Move materials to designated storage, staging, and production areas.
- Pick, stack, organize, and prepare products for shipment.
- Verify quantities and inspect materials for visible damage.
- Maintain accurate inventory and movement records when required.
- Follow all warehouse procedures and workplace safety guidelines.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts before each shift.
- Report equipment problems, damaged products, or safety concerns to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift; certification is preferred or may be provided depending on company requirements.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $24.00 - $28.90 per hour
