Requirements/New Hire:

Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, recognizing symptoms of illness or distress, and reporting changes promptly
- Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or confusion, especially for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when required
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment for clients
- Work effectively within home & community care settings, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and client preferences
Experience
- Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease
- Knowledge of procedures related to patient care, including vital signs monitoring and medication reminder
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or mobility aids

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
