One Heart Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate licensed nurse practitioner interested in joining a thriving patient-centered cardiology practice. The nurse practitioner will round in designated assisted living centers, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. Monday - Friday. No weekends, nights or call. Competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Round in designated assisted living centers, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers
- Complete structured clinical interview with all new patients
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
- Propose treatments for acute and chronic diseases
- Document all patient care in electronic medical record
- Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention
Skills
- Valid New Jersey RN license.
- Comprehensive knowledge of adult nursing care, preferable in outpatient services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of principles of nursing, and physical assessment skills.
- Ability to function autonomously, excellent leadership, clinical & interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong ethics.
- Master’s degree; PhD is a plus.
Job Types: Per diem, Contract, Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $75.00 per hour
