Principal Responsibilities:
TECHNICAL
- Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, ensures a safe, comfortable, sanitary environment for residents, staff and visitors in accordance with Federal, State and Corporate requirements.
- Performs preventative maintenance procedures.
- Requires full range of body motion.
- Janitorial duties throughout facility.
ADMINISTRATIVE
- Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, maintains equipment necessary to meet Center needs.
- Participates in assigned meetings and in-services.
QUALIFICATIONS
- One year experience in a long term care center preferred
- Ability to read and write English for business necessity
- Ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs
- One year experience in basic trades preferred
- Working knowledge of plant support systems (cooling/heating, emergency systems) preferred
CONSUMER SERVICE
- Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
- Adheres to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
- Ensures that all consumer/resident rights are protected.
