Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Logistics Coordinator to support our operations team. This role includes inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping coordination, and general logistics support for domestic and international shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments from suppliers.
- Assemble and package research products and kits for orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using electronic systems (NetSuite preferred).
- Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate with carriers for timely delivery.
- Resolve discrepancies in inventory or orders in collaboration with internal teams.
- Support vendor communications and supplier coordination.
- Assist with logistics process improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or lab operations preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management and order processing systems.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations, including international shipments.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently in a small team environment.
