Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Carpenter/Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry and construction tasks
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding work, decking, painting and finish work with attention to detail
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Install fixtures, roofing components, flooring, tile, windows, doors, cabinets and more
- Conduct restoration projects including plastering, water damage repair, mold remediation, and general building refurbishment
- Execute heavy lifting tasks and assist in manufacturing or assembly processes as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site environments with a strong background in carpentry and general laboring roles
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and fabrication equipment
- Must provide your own essential hand/power tools (saws, drills, levels, pouches, etc)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of various construction trades including framing (wooden and metal), roofing, siding, drywall installation (including plastering), flooring (tile and wood), general site preparation, material handling and end-of-day job site cleanup.
- Operating job site tools, power equipment and measuring devices.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely
- Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites; OSHA certification is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
